Run by artist Jane Galloway and displaying work from New Zealand artists and artisans
Emma Huia Lovegrove is a Kirikiriroa based painter. Lovegrove uses her art practice as a way to foster her relationship with the landscapes that she visits and the varied nature they contain. She is drawn to locations that feel wild and untouched, but when you peer more closely, vibrant ecosystems thrive and surreal patterns are revealed.
Emma graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts in 2019. Since graduating she has worked on a variety of projects including a textile collaboration with Pauanesia and illustrating Remarkable Animal Stories by Maria Gill.
A range of Emma's reproduction prints can be found at Artists at Work. Available to purchase in the gallery.
