Run by artist Jane Galloway and displaying work from New Zealand artists and artisans
Twenty years ago I took a leap of faith and followed my lifelong dream to become a glass blower. I studied at Whanganui Ucol and then in Sweden, where I spent five years learning from some of the best glass blowers in the world. In 2011 I returned to New Zealand and have been a full time self employed designer maker since then. My current practice encompasses both blown and cast pieces and my work is influenced by the local environment and also linked to the great heritage of blown glass that I experienced through my time overseas.
