UK born, with a Bachelor in Fine Arts , Helen now creates her uniquely affecting work from a bush-surrounded studio in Titirangi, West Auckland.  The gestural shapes, movement and above all colour, invite the viewer to project their own story onto the canvas. Describing herself as a ‘slow’ artist, Helen takes great care with attention to detail and technique. ‘I love the process and materiality of paint. It’s kind of addictive and I can end up going places I didn’t expect.’
